Is Warcraft Conquest for Real?

There's yet one more World of Warcraft guide on the market this week. The guide, called Warcraft Conquest, supposedly goes way beyond the normal boundaries of a World of Warcraft leveling or gold guide. But what does that mean? Do we need another World of Warcraft leveling or gold guide? There are thousands of World of Warcraft guides on the Internet and none of them really cover everything in depth. There are some very good leveling guides and some fantastic gold guides, but no true “mastery” guides for the stuff that really helps players stand out in a game like this.

That's where Warcraft Conquest is supposed to come in. From the guru who developed Warcraft Formula, Warcraft Conquest is designed to cover all the important things that a high-level player in World of Warcraft wants to excel at. The guide’s author, Max Lee, has supposedly been playing this game since the early betas.

That means he’s been able to acquire hundreds of thousands of gold, master multiple classes in both factions, and dominate dozens of instances from the most basic early level instances in vanilla WoW up to the most complicated instances in Cataclysm. The guide itself is made up of dozens of videos, including everything from videos of Blackwing Descent, advanced PVP videos of arenas, battlegrounds like Alterac Valley and Twin Peaks, and world PVP zones like Wintergrasp.

So, the question is do you need another World of Warcraft guide? The answer to that depends largely on what you’re working towards in the game. If you're still trying to level up and reach level 85 for the first time or if your only goal is farming for gold you may want to look for another guide. Warcraft Conquest is much more than those other guides can offer. This guide was developed to help players at level 85 be the best they can be in PVP, raiding, gold making, and everything in between. There aren’t many other guides that can say that.

How to Get Heirloom Items Fast in World of Warcraft

As World of Warcraft continues to expand larger and larger, with the level cap increasing over time, it's becoming more and more difficult for people to have multiple characters at max level. Everyone would like to have characters of all classes at level cap, but it is terribly time consuming to be able to do that.

Luckily, Blizzard has introduced, with the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, a new type of item to help players level their alts quicker and easier than ever before. They are called Bind on Account items, or Heirlooms. In order to have access to get Heirlooms, you must already have at least one level 80 character, for the most part.

Power and Extra Experience

There are 2 awesome benefits of getting and using Heirloom items. The first benefit is they scale to your level. So, as you gain levels, the Heirloom item stats (armor, damage, etc) increase as well. This is really cool because it makes it unnecessary to upgrade most of your gear. Heirlooms have good stats, armor, and damage for your current level, so they keep you powerful and able to do quests quickly, which is a huge plus when trying to level up some alt characters.

The second, and probably most important, benefit is that some Heirlooms increase the experience points you gain from killing mobs and turning in quests by 10%. If you have 3 Heirloom pieces that give a 10% experience boost each, that's a total of a 30% experience boost for your character while leveling to level 80. So, if it usually takes you 6 months total, real time, to level your alts, you could level that same character in about 4 months total. Just having Heirlooms could save you 2 months of your time! That's pretty amazing, if you ask me.

Getting Your Own Heirlooms

The most popular way of getting Heirlooms, hands down, is by doing dailies. Getting a full set of heirlooms can be done pretty quickly by doing dailies, if you know what you're doing. The whole point of heirloom items is to save you time. So, not only do you want to save time after you get your Heirlooms, but you should also look into saving time while in the process of getting Heirloom items.

The way to do that is with an optimized route of all the dailies you need to do in order to get the items to trade in for Heirlooms. Obviously, you can figure out your own path for doing this, but if you're like me, you'll want a guide written by professional gamers for the sole purpose of getting dailies done quickly.

There is a certain guide I use for all my dailies needs. It's called Zygor's Dailies & Events Guide. In their guide, they show you step-by-step how to get Heirloom items. As a bonus, they walk you through speed runs for making gold with dailies, as well as getting your Crusader title, which is needed to buy Heirlooms if you want to be able to buy them by doing dailies alone. If you want to get Heirlooms, gold, and your Crusader title fast, I highly recommend picking up a copy of Zygor's guide. Good luck!

Street Fighter 4 Moves - What's the Best Ultra Combo?

When talking about the best Street Fighter 4 moves, and which Ultra combo is the best, there are a few factors that you need to look at. 'How easy is it to connect with and actually hit your opponent with?' and 'How much damage does it do?' are the main questions that you should ask. Beyond that you might ask 'how good does it look?' and 'does it suit my style of play?'

If you're basing it on damage alone, then there's only one person that you can realistically look at, and that's Zangief. His myriad of suplexes and a final powerbomb can take around 5/8ths of a life bar away! The fact that it's a close-range grab move is even more devastating, as it means your opponent can't block it.

Akuma's move is deadly and one of the most frightening, despite being very easy to stop and counter. A simple jab when Akuma is 'floating' towards you is all it takes to stop this move, but make sure you time it right or you might not be around for much longer! This nervousness can often be seen when playing against Akuma, and players panic when he does his Ultra move, and end up getting caught in it.

Cammy's Ultra combo is considered to be one of the best Street Fighter 4 moves, as it not only takes around half of your opponent's life bar away (depending on who you're fighting), but because she starts it with a spinning corkscrew, your opponent has to be crouching and blocking to not get hit by it.

Gouken's ultra combo is one of my personal favourites, if not for the reason that it looks so badass! It's basically a giant Dragon Punch, which does around 10 hits to your opponent. The best Street Fighter 4 moves the ones that can usually be activated easily at the end of a combo. For example, because Chun Li's Ultra combo comes out so quickly and connects very early, you can time it so that there's almost no lag time between your build-up attack and activating the combo.

Airport Mania - First Flight

Airport Mania First Flight is another set of games of fast-paced action, but this time you\re in the seat of an air traffic controller. This time it is flights at risk, so you better have your brain well in gear and your clicking finger to the ready.

Be seen in every level in the Flight Airport Mania d bird of a track, and your goal is a successful air traffic controller, so that effective means of landing, loading, fueling, and everything in Central.Like all games that offer one, the only place to start is the tutorial. This tutorial is a light and allows you to become familiar with the structure of the game without falling straight down at the end.

One of the main differences between this game and others like it is the ability to gain combos.
The higher, the more money you get your seat combo.
Remember though do the job effectively before you do it quickly, never the other way around.
In this game the plans are in color and this helps their doors direct.
If you have two purple planes on the ground and only one purple gate, then you can store the other purple plane in the waiting area, this will delay the rate at which it becomes unhappy.
Remember, it's not just the passengers that the aircraft not to get angry! If you get in the game, you will see four goals, progress through the levels is necessary to achieve the target to a minimum base.

On top of the basic target you have the expert, master and supreme targets, the higher you get the more money you earn.

Just as an airport there are a variety of levels, some are content to remain on the floor for a long time, others are eager extremely fast, it is essential that if you score high you can achieve quickly with the sullen air handling that.

Of course with all games in this genre, you can upgrade specific items.
One of the most important speeches at the airport mania will bring more areas pending.
This might not look imperative at the level you are on but you have to think ahead.
If a stage is completed, all your updates will disappear, however, are made differently than your updates to take your money, so that if you find that you may be able to the next level, without an update complete and then do not get reasons to keep your money in the bank, and you'll have an easier task at a later date.

Like many of the other time management games, you will find that you do not get bored in a hurry, and this is always an exceptional quality for games to have.
There are a lot of points that I have not even begun to be explored in this article are just some of the key points that will help you on the way.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Review

Hours of Patrick Stewart. This is the first thing players should know about Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. There is so much Patrick Stewart here it may give even the hardiest Next Generation fans pause. Patrick Stewart not only narrates the entire experience, but he is a major character in Lords of Shadow as well.

The game throws players into the action quickly as Gabriel Belmont. You are initially tasked with protecting a small village from a band of attacking werewolves. A tutorial encompassing basic combos, dodging, ranged attacks, and quick time events is included here. Combat is fairly simplistic, and even with most of the moves unlocked by the end of the game, players should not feel overwhelmed. Gabriel's weapon of choice is the Combat Cross, a metal cross with a retractable chain whip. The whip is used as both a melee weapon and a Bionic Commando style grappling hook. It can be used to grab enemies at range, or to swing Gabriel to otherwise unreachable areas, but sadly the grappling aspect is contextual.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is by no means an open world game. Players may feel as if they are on rails at times, and some levels feel absolutely claustrophobic. Each level has multiple branching paths, and once a path is chosen, most will not allow players to backtrack and explore the alternate fork. To me this feels like artificial replay value, forcing me to replay the level simply to find out what I potentially missed. After each level is completed, the game provides a summary page detailing what items were available in the level and what the player has missed, serving to tease completionists into another round.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow periodically provides upgrades to both the Combat Cross, and Gabriel's combat abilities. Things such as light and dark magic, double jump, sprint, and hand to hand combat are distributed after downing the games various bosses. This serves to encourage exploration of previously completed levels using newly acquired abilities. Players earn currency by defeating enemies, which can then be used to purchase additional combos or special magical moves from the game's menu at any time.

While I've heard talk of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow taking 20-25 hours for many to complete, I ran through the game in about 15 or so. The game has four modes of difficulty, but certain mechanics keep the game from being overly challenging. Human sized enemies can be grabbed at range and instantly killed via a single button quick time mechanic. This, combined with the fact that Gabriel is invulnerable during the grab animation, make dispatching large groups of enemies a breeze. This tactic feels so cheap at times I felt ashamed to use it, prefering instead to chalk it up as a design flaw and use Gabriel's normal fighting mechanics in all but the most dire of circumstances.

Enemies and character's are interesting, and level locations are varied and detailed, ranging from swamps to gothic cathedrals. Bosses are generally epic, however they seem to get easier as the game goes along. The first Dark Lord is quite a challenge, but the game never seems to hit this high note a second time. While it's possible the initial boss forced me to get better at the game's combat systems, the challenge was not proportionally increased throughout the remainder of the game.

Patrick Stewart pushes the narrative along between levels, explaining Gabriel's emotional struggles and introducing the newest locale. However the game never takes the time to emotionally develop Gabriel through it's various cutscenes. The story itself has several twists and turns, but the ending is cryptic and forgettable, leaving plenty of room for DLC or sequels to expound upon. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is fun, especially for fans of the action genre, but a shallow narrative, lack of genuine replayability, and a combat system that feels gimmicky at times serve to keep Castlevania: Lords of Shadow from being a must have title this season.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2

Dragon Quest has really found a new home on the DS. DQ IX surprised us all by moving onto a handheld system, and last year's Rocket Slime paved the way for it. Now Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker is the third reason for RPG fans to get a DS (Ok, chronologically it's the second reason). The game takes the monster battles, which first appeared way the heck back in DQ V, expands them, adds some Pokemon related gameplay elements and creates a fun game that steals all our free time.

You'll travel around several islands in the Green Bay, collect and battle monsters from the Dragon Quest world, breed them to create more powerful monsters and attempt to win the Monster Scout Challenge. Yes, it sounds like Pokemon, but remember Dragon Quest has a long history of monster battling of its own. It's tough to say where DQ ideas end and Pokemon begins. To be honest, we don't really care because the game is every bit as addicting as smaller-scale monster battles in DQ VIII and now it's been expanded into a full-sized game.

You start with a weak monster and begin by fighting other monsters to power-up. Along with fighting, you can scout other monsters to entice them to join your team. The chances of successfully scouting depend on the attack power of your monster team. If your guys are strong enough, the prospective teammate will have a good chance of being super-impressed by your awesome fighting skills and join up. If you aren't strong enough the monster will probably just get pissed-off. It turns out that the hallway-blocking green dragon we were fighting didn't really want to team up with a dinky Mischievous Mole until we had leveled him up and transformed him into a Hammer Hood - he's much cooler than a mole.

As your creatures gain levels they accumulate skill points which can be assigned to skill sets. The sets you put points into determine what spells, attribute bonuses and abilities your little dudes will learn. You won't win the Monster Scout Challenge without careful planning where to place each skill point you earn. Oh, and you'll also need to collect your own army of creatures.

Before long you'll have your own team of three monsters and three more that you can swap in if one of your guys needs to come out - for example, he could be dead. After exploring a few of the islands you'll collect enough monsters to start your own petting zoo, but most of your horde will have to wait in storage until you decide to do something with them. That's where the fun part of monster management comes in; to get the best monsters you'll need to find a positively charged monster and a negatively charged monster and put them together to "synthesize." Boom chicka bow-wow.

The Series creator, Yuji Horii, told us the game is going for an audience a bit older than most Pokemon players, so we figure it's ok that the game talks so openly about how synthesis works. Incidentally, the process also destroys your first two monsters, but their traits can be passed down to your new creation. Managing your creatures, powering them up, winning the big tournament and collecting 'em all takes a lot of time, but we like searching every corner of every island because we like being the best. That's us though. If you hate backtracking, looking for hidden things and having to spend some serious time building and rebuilding your elite fighting team of cute little critters, you may want to look elsewhere for fun.
